As sizing varies from brand to brand we recommend that you compare the measurements we provide against a garment you already have that fits you well. Most jeans and chinos will stretch approximately 1 inch with wear so please size with this in mind. If your jeans fit snug initially they should stretch to a comfortable place within a couple of days – they should be tight but not uncomfortable. Please review how we take measurements to ensure an accurate comparison.
We recommend washing your jeans every 3-4 months or sooner if they become heavily soiled. Although some people recommend waiting 6 months or longer between washings this can significantly shorten the life of your jeans.
To wash your jeans, flip them inside-out and hand rinse in cold water with a splash of mild detergent. Flip them back, hang to dry, and shape the legs so they aren't overly creased or wrinkled.
We don’t recommend presoaking your jeans as all of our denims are sanforized. The starch in raw denim creates rigid creases, which help to create higher contrast fading. Please review the care label in your garment before washing.
RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICY
Please review our Shipping, Returns, and Polices page for a full breakdown of our policies. Refunds can only be processed for items purchased at full price. Please include the Left Field Return and Exchange form and your original transaction receipt with your return. Returns sent without a Returns and Exchanges form and original transaction receipt may be delayed substantially. Your first exchange ships free within the United States. If you require additional exchanges after that, there will be a $10 shipping fee. International customers are responsible for all shipping fees.
Returned items must be in their original, unworn and unwashed condition, free of any stains, odors or defects and with all packaging and tags still intact and attached. Hemmed items are not eligible for return or exchange. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. It is strongly recommended that all return packages are sent with proof of delivery and insurance. Refunds will not be issued for returns that are damaged or lost in transit. Sale, Deadstock, and Seconds items may be exchanged for incorrect sizing only, for a fee of $15. Store credit will be granted if your size is unavailable. Items purchased with a discount code can be returned for store credit only. Any item that ends in .99 is considered a sale item.
CHAIN STITCH HEMMING, OTHER ALTERATIONS, AND CUSTOM ORDERS
We offer chain stitch hemming on all bottoms for $10. As we cannot accept returns or exchanges on any altered item please confirm your sizing against our provided measurements.
If you’d like to try your jeans on for size before having them hemmed please send them back to us with a Returns and Exchangs form specifying the length and your return address. For domestic orders the cost is $22 ($10 for the hem and $12 for return shipping). For international return shipping estimates please contact us at email@example.com. Please allow 2-3 business days for you hem to be completed. If you need your hem expedited please call or email us to confirm it can be completed within your desired timeframe.
We can hem unworn Left Field garments not purchased through our online store for the same price, but please make sure all items are in new, unworn condition.
At this point the only alteration service we offer is chain stitch hemming, but we look to offer other services shortly.
We are not set up to offer any custom garments.
